i have gotten SO many fucking porn bot follows continuously for months not and its exhausting fucking having to go through and black and report them all almost everyday seriously its the biggest fucking annoyance
so as this post says, if you'r finding your blog is all jumbled, old posts popping up to the front, new posts not showing up at all, etc it is because of those posts being flagged and then unflagged. all you have to do is open them to edit and save them again and they’ll go back.
i just wanted to make this separate post to add that once you do that all your new posts will go back to being visible at the top of your blog as they should be i just did it and now everything’s fine on my blog.
This is my naughty blog right now. Notice how the icon is that snazzy default thing?
That’s because it’s set to explicit, a setting that was locked after the great purge:
BUT
If you right-click on that toggle and click “inspect element”, you can change that.
Notice how the input tag has a disabled attribute? Just remove that whole thing:
The toggle is now active
And toggleable
And now, after a quick refresh, my old (crap, but real) icon and header image are back, and the blog is no longer treated as hidden or explicit.
The goggle also disappears after the refresh, but it’s worth noting that you can also edit the toggle back into the settings panel and change your blog back to explicit if you so desire.
This is a perfect example of the laziness of tumblr’s devs. They haven’t removed the functionality, they’ve just kinda-sorta hidden it a bit; the end-point that the explicit toggle hits is still there.
Please reblog this and post this is discords where people are having trouble with their blogs
some people’s blogs are being incorrectly flagged as explicit so if you would like to check your status, you can look it up on postlimit.com.
if you have been incorrectly marked as nsfw, you can appeal before tumblr permanently filters you as such and your blog is set back to default settings prior to december 18th here.
Everyone: this is how I found out I was flagged and marked explicit. Check your stuff out and make sure you’re good to go.
Hey guys I know I don’t post or talk as much as I’d like on here but my sister and I really need some help. See this adorable little guy here:
His name is Elijah and he’s my nephew. He was born with a rare hand deformity and also diagnosed with autism. He had his first surgery last year.
He’s going to need another one now to separate his middle and ring finger in order to help it’s growth. Unfortunately, the insurance isn’t going to cover everything. She’s a single mother with two kids who have special needs. She applied for SSI and disability for Elijah but he was denied because of her income. I would greatly appreciate it if you could donate to the GoFundMe link below and if not, could you please reblog this for others to see. PLEASE AND THANK YOU!

Sharon Choksi, founder Girls Will Be,
decided to do something about the lack of options for girls. She said
the inspiration for her new line of clothing, came from her daughter and
niece, Maya and Grace, who wanted to wear clothing that wasn’t frilly,
“nothing with bows” and absolutely “NO sparkles.” They were interested
in “climbing trees, building LEGO creations, and playing with cars and
trucks,” Choksi said.

from the above article:
She collected boys and girls clothes from 10 of the biggest retailers that were all meant for kids of around the same size and age and measured them. What she found was that the girls’ shirts were one to three inches thinner. The sleeves were shorter. And the girls’ shorts were barely a third of the length.
I know this was true when I was a kid, but it’s gotten a lot worse since then.
HOLY SHIT YES. I’ve had SO many conversations about dress codes and stuff where people complain about how “skimpy” the clothes tween girls wear are, and I have to explain to them that those are their only options. There literally aren’t pants a tween/early teen girl can buy anywhere between capris and a 3-inch inseam. Shit, I’m 32 and wear a size 22/24 pants and I have trouble finding shorts that cover over half my thigh!
